Network marketing made me almost quit the only thing that’s truly changed me inside and out.

My newsfeed and inbox were full of such uninspiring, money hungry posts by complete strangers. People begging me to help them hit their monthly goal when in reality I had no clue who they were or what their “goal” was. Everything about these god awful posts were putting thoughts in my head like do I really want to be associated with these people? For the record- they posts were not from anyone from my tribe because lord knows they know better.

The doubt in my head quickly turned to symptoms within my body as I started pulling back from what I once thrived about. The one set of products who not only changed my body but my mind as well. I started slacking and before you know it I was sick over and over again, eating awful and had very little energy. I was letting the words of others define my body, my dream and my life.

I’ve since done a massive friends clean out and continue to do so. My goal is HEALTH & HAPPINESS for not only myself, but for others as well. Not a certain amount of money, title or recognition. Simply spread what works with others and continue to be the best version of myself that I can be with a little help from my plant based supplements.

What’s your WHY? My reason for sticking to plant based supplements!

My “why” is a personal one.

They say in order to succeed you have to have a pretty strong why. Why do you want this? Why does it matter?

My why is 100% to never go back to the person I was. I was lazy, could pay my bills but used a credit card on the reg, unmotivated, lack of drive and just kind of existing. At 26 years old, their wasn’t much life, fire or excitement to me. I remember walking around Walmart one night for something to do. Yeah, that was pretty bad.

Fast forward to today. I am typing this from my phone, listening to a business YouTube video and have my computer on in front of me. I’m on 3 different devices as we speak. I had to give myself a bedtime because I have so much drive, energy, motivation and overall GET OUT THERE AND HELP THEM kinda attitude. Where did this girl come from?!

Turns out I was here all along. Our strengths and greatest attributes are always there but sometimes they are buried. Buried under low self confidence, anxiety, laziness, depression, etc.

Yeah, that was me. I can truthfully say…BEEN THERE DONE THAT and I’ll never go back. See, getting your gut healthy is not just getting your gut healthy. You’re freeing yourself of your deepest, darkest demons. Those demons that told you that you weren’t worthy enough for greatness. Those demons who said it’s ok to lay in bed binging on Netflix for hours upon hours while not working on yourself and the things that you love.

I feel the best I’ve ever felt.
I’m helping others feel better.
I am getting paid to do so.
I no longer live paycheck to paycheck.

Making the change is EASY. You just have to start. Stop living the life you weren’t meant to live and reach out to me today.

THE STRUGGLES OF DIETING

Let’s be real ladies, dieting is the worst. I mean like I can do it for a couple days but then it goes downhill real quick. My motivation came from the Victoria’s Secret fashion show this week. Like many other girls, I decided the next day will be the start of a diet. Luckily I had the necessary items in my refrigerator to start fresh with no added temptations lurking in my refrigerator.

Meal 1- Breakfast:
I picked up some interesting oatmeal at Trader Joe’s. It was oatmeal with ground flax and some other good for you ingredients. I added some mixed berries and called it a day.

Meal 2- Snack:
By 10 o’clock in the morning I was starving. I opted for some fresh pineapple to try to hold me over until lunch. It worked considering it took lunch hour later…

Meal 3- Lunch:
I grabbed a nice healthy salad for lunch. I can’t say anything more about it because that’s all that it was… A boring salad.

Meal 4- Dinner:
By the time dinner came around I was going through every cabinet in my refrigerator like I’ve never had food before. I was shaking, I felt like I was about to faint. To save my own life I had to eat everything in sight.

Moral of the story, I just can’t do it. I know things take time and you have to practice at it I just don’t want to practice not eating.

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN DECEMBER!

I think I’m half bear because once winter comes around all I want to do is hibernate. I get extremely lazy put off things that I need to do and stop working out. All things that I SHOULD be doing.

Considering today is December 1st these are the things that I will be doing for the rest of the month to hold myself accountable and be more productive.

WAKE UP 3060 MINUTES EARLY!

I don’t know about you but when it is dark out I struggle to get out of bed. I associate the dark with sleep and can’t wrap my head around the fact that I could be waking up and doing something productive. Isn’t sleep productive? HELLUR!? Waking up 30 minutes earlier every single day to do something for yourself, that could be making a homemade breakfast or working out or tidying up around the house before the day even starts. You’ll find that the feeling of accomplishment starts before your workday. That accomplishment will follow you all day and lead you to more accomplishments and better things.

WRITE DOWN DAILY GOALS!

Writing down daily goals will keep you on track and you will be more productive during the day. Also sidenote, you could do this in the morning during your 30 minutes of your time. Write down simple things like take out the trash, clean your room, get groceries, etc. The more you get done during the day the more accomplished she’ll feel the less you have to pile all of the chores during one day and feel overwhelmed.

START A PIGGYBANK

I know that sounds funny depending on your age maybe like, really a piggy bank?! I promise you won’t regret this. Decided figure amount that you like to take out every single paycheck. Write this number down if you have to or you can make a calendar reminder just don’t forget about it. Take out as little as $20 every single paycheck. If you get paid biweekly $40 extra a month. If you do the month by yourself something special something that you wanted. It’s a reward for holding yourself accountable and sticking to your goal. The next month increase your amount to $30 and so on and so forth. This will help you start saving money rewarding yourself and you’ll be happier, believe me.

I’ve had my fair share of paying full price for travel and let me tell you my friend, never again. I am a pro when it comes to finding a deal because I’m incredibly cheap.

To be completely honest a lot of the tips I’ve learned via internet or travel friends. However, I do have a few tips of my own up my sleeve. Starting in no order (that’s too much work) see below and let the games begin!

Wow Jess, so original. No but seriously, the amount of money you can save on kayak is disgusting. Kayak will pull all airlines that are available and pin them against each other and add in some special, magical price that is normally a lot lower than booking directly with an airline. Just trust me on this one and try it.

* TIP– don’t have a destination in mind? Go to kayak.com and click on more and then explore. Put in your home airport and how much you’re looking to spend on a flight. BAM! They are all listed out for you 🙂

SKYSCANNER.COM

This is a fairly new one for me. It works a lot like kayak but also will provide you with great deals on flights. I went to London in June and used Sky Scanner for my flights and it was almost $150 less than booking direct with an airline.

GROUPON.COM

You can get fantastic rates on vacations on Groupon! Think of Groupon travel as like your personal travel agent. If you’re not in a rush, wait until they have a sale and use the coupon code listed under notifications to get some serious money off.

Of course you have other websites like travelzoo, Expedia, ect. But the above websites work best for me!
